Adored grandfather of Claudia, Marla, Luis, Erica, Gabriel, Mika, and great-grandfather of Diogo and Djamila.
Cherished longtime partner of Jeannette Fallavollitta.
Beloved brother of Rosa Correia, Ana Ventura, Maria de Fatima Lima, Maria Helena Lima, Maria da Conceicao Alves, Vincent Alves, Jose Luis Alves, and Joao Alves.
Dear son of the late Ana C. (Ventura) and Jose Alves.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street in Cambridge on Sunday August 2, 2026, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm.
Funeral Mass in St. Anthony’s Church, 400 Cardinal Mederios Avenue in Cambridge on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 10:00 am.
Interment will be at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge.
Those wishing to travel in procession to the church and the cemetery are asked to please meet at the funeral home in Cambridge on Monday morning at 9:00 am.
