Mrs. Ruth L. Madore

Ruth Lenore Madore (diBiccari) died on December 6^th at her home in Cambridge, MA.  Ruth was born in 1941 in Manchester, NH  and grew up in Boston.  She lived in Arlington until 1977, when she married her late husband Gil Madore and moved to Cambridge. Ruth held many jobs over the years up until her retirement from Star Market in Somerville. (She liked her co-workers so much that she would frequently go back to just visit with them).  Ruth had a heart of gold and made friends instantly.  She had a hug for everyone and took genuine interest in each new person she met. She loved wolves, old westerns and most of all spending time with her family and friends.  Her family will miss her hearty laugh and wicked wit. She is survived by her sister Lynda Shure and her husband David of Billerica, MA, her sister Eda diBiccari of West Simsbury, CT and her brother Albert diBiccari and his wife Bonnie of Marlborough, MA. She will also be missed by her many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.  A remembrance of her life will be held on Thursday, December 11^th, 2014 at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge St., Cambridge from 5 to 7 pm.  In lieu of flowers donations in Ruth's memory may be made to Safe Haven for Women, 186 Bedford Street, Lexington, MA 02420
